Akbeit

 

an urban-type settlement in Astrakhan Raion, Tselinograd Oblast, Kazakh SSR. It is located 18 km east of the Zhaltyr railroad station on the Kartaly-Tselinograd line. Population 2,600, in 1968. Gold is extracted in the area.
