Alekseevka

 

a city (before 1954 a settlement) and the administrative center of Alekseevka Raion, in eastern Belgorod Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on both banks of the Tikhaia Sosna River (a tributary of the Don), Alekseevka has a railroad station on the Georgiu-Dezh-Valuiki line. Its population was 23,800 in 1968. Industry includes an essential-oil extraction combine, a dairy and canning combine, and a sugar refinery. Work began on a chemical machine-building plant in 1969. Alekseevka also has an agricultural technical school.


Alekseevka

The Akkul’ railroad station on the Petropavlovsk-Tselinograd line is in Alekseevka. Population was 20,500 in 1968. Industry includes rail transport enterprises, a machine repair shop, brickyard, building and assembly construction combine, an oil-mill, and a furniture factory.


Alekseevka

 

an urban-type settlement in Kuibyshev Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the right bank of the Samara River. Has a railroad station (Alekseevskaia) on the Kuibyshev-Pokhvistnevo line. The population of Alek-seevka was 6,700 in 1968. The industry of Alekseevka includes a construction materials combine and a livestock sovkhoz.

an urban-type settlement in Saratov Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the right bank of the Volga, 50 km south of the Kulatka railroad station on the Syzran’-Saratov line, Alekseevka had a population of 6,300 in 1968. It has a machine repair shop and stone quarries.


Alekseevka

 

an urban-type settlement in Kokchetav Raion, Kokchetav Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Situated on the Chaglinka River (which flows into Lake Shaglyteniz), 6 km from the Azat railroad station on the Petropavlovsk-Kokchetav line, Alekseevka had a population of 3,200 in 1968. Industry includes dolomite extraction, a building and assembly construction combine, and a brickyard.
