Alekseevskoe

 

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Alekseevskoe Raion, Tatar ASSR. Situated on the shore of the Kuibyshev Reservoir, 108 km southeast of Kazan, Alekseevskoe had a population of 7,700 in 1968. Industry includes a dairy and canning combine and a brickyard.
