Almaznyi

 

an urban-type settlement in Rostov Oblast, RSFSR. It is situated in the Donets Basin, 8 km from the Zverevo railroad station. The population in 1968 was 6,200. Coal is mined in the area.


Almaznyi

 

an urban-type settlement in the Yakut ASSR. It is situated at the confluence of the Ireliakh and Ochchugui-Botuobuia rivers (in the basin of the Viliui River), on an automobile road 25 km southeast of Mirnyi. Population in 1968, 3,800. Diamonds are mined in the area.
