Facilities:Picnic areas, visitor center, hiking trails, bridle trails, mineral springs, lookout areas, Youth Science Institute (408-258-4322), playground.
Activities:Hiking, bicycling, horseback riding.
Special Features:The east-west canyon of San Jose's oldest and largest park contains many delicate plant and animal communities. Hikers can see black-tailed deer, bush rabbits, quail, and, on rare occasions, the elusive bobcat.
