Amedichi

 

a river in the Yakut ASSR; the left tributary of the Aldan River. The Amedichi River is 313 km long and has a basin with an area of 6,020 sq km. It takes its source on the northern slopes of the Stanovoi Range and flows along the Aldan Plateau. It is fed by mixed waters, predominantly rain. There are violent flash floods in the summer; the river freezes over in the winter, typically with ice floes.
