Kamennogorsk

 

(until 1948, Antrea), a city in Vyborg Raion, Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the Karelian Isthmus, on the left bank of the Vuoksa River (Lake Ladoga basin), 169 km northwest of Leningrad. Kamennogorsk is a station on the Vyborg-Petrozavodsk railroad line and is the starting point of a 26-km branch to Svetogorsk. There is a paper factory and a combine producing nonmetallic materials such as sand and gravel in the city. Granite is quarried near Kamennogorsk.
