iWork

Apple's office applications for Macs and iOS devices. Introduced in 2005 and superseding AppleWorks, iWork was initially sold as a suite of three apps for the Mac: Pages word processing, Numbers spreadsheet and Keynote presentation graphics. Later unbundled and sold independently, the iWork applications were subsequently made free for Macs and iOS devices. See application suite.

Although iWork native formats use .pages, .numbers and .key file extensions, Microsoft Office files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) can be imported and exported. See iLife, iCloud and AppleWorks.
