Apsny Kapsh

 

(Red Abkhazia), a newspaper in the Abkhazian language; organ of the Abkhazian Oblast Committee of the Communist Party of Georgia, the Supreme Soviet, and the Council of Ministers of the Abkhazian ASSR. It has been published in Sukhumi since Feb. 27, 1919, first under the name Apsny; on Apr. 20,1921, it was renamed Apsny Kapsh. It comes out five times a week, and its circulation is 13,800 (1970).
