Astronomiia

 

(Astronomy), a journal of abstracts of the All-Union Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.

Astronomiia has been published in Moscow since 1963 (from 1953 to 1962 the journal of abstracts Astronomiia i geodeziia was published). There are 12 issues a year. The journal publishes abstracts, annotations, or bibliographical descriptions of articles and books on astronomy printed in the USSR and abroad. Each issue contains approximately 650 publications and an author index. Author and subject indexes are published annually in separate issues.
