In order to help preserve the school's history, a small group of concerned former pupils are co-ordinating a collection of memorabilia, including copies of the school magazine (The
Avonian, dating from 1902), the long whole-school photographs and any other relevant materials to deposit at the West Glamorgan Archive in Swansea.

Avonian and art director of the school yearbook named (really!) The Winged Beaver.
