Bakhapcha
a river in Magadan Oblast, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Kolyma. Length, 291 km; area of basin, 13,800 sq km. The Bakhapcha flows through a mountainous region, with rapids in its lower reaches. It is fed primarily by rain. It is icebound from October through May.
