Balabino

 

an urban-type settlement in Zaporozh’e Raion, Zaporozh’e Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, located near the northernmost tip of the Kakhov Reservoir. Balabino has a railroad station 4 km from Zaporozh’e. Population in 1968 was 6,900. The population works chiefly at enterprises in Zaporozh’e.
