This article introduces the Terahertz technology's basic research and the extraordinary optical transmission of terahertz technology on a metal thin film of subwavelength hole array, designs the terahertz band stop filter with metal sub wavelength periodic structure combining with the communication theory of electromagnetic wave in metal sub wavelength periodic surface structure, and through the simulation analysis, it is concluded that the filter can be realized in theory, but it's specific parameters need to be adjusted in practice.
