Location:In Coconut Grove (Miami) at 3485 Main Highway.

Special Features:Built in 1891, The Barnacle was the home of Ralph Middleton Munroe, yacht designer, naturalist, photographer, and one of Coconut Grove's most influential pioneers. The house is surrounded by a tropical hardwood forest that is one of the last remnants of the once vast Miami Hammock.
