Basili Ezosmodzgvari

 

(Vasilii Ezosmodzgvardi), Georgian historian who lived in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. In 1210–13 he wrote a history of the reign of Tamara (1184–1213). He held a religious post and was one of the people close to Tamara. Basili Ezosmodzgvari’s work contains information on the history of Georgia in the late 12th and early 13th centuries.
