Bellataminal

 

(Czech bellaspon), a medicinal preparation of the group of cholinolytic drugs. Bellataminal contains phenobarbital, ergotamine tartrate (an ergot preparation), and alkaloids of belladonna. It exerts a tranquilizing effect on the central nervous system. Bellataminal is used in treating increased irritability, insomnia, neurodermatitis, and so on. It is contraindicated during pregnancy and childbirth, with spasms of the cardiac vessels, and in glaucoma.
