Berry, Brian (Joe Lobley)

(1934–  ) geographer; born in Sedgley, Staffordshire, England. He moved to the United States in 1955 and took professorships at the University of Chicago, Harvard, and Carnegie-Mellon Universities before becoming Founders Professor at the University of Texas: Dallas. He was a prolific authority on urban matters and regional development in advanced and developing countries.
