Bil’giakh

 

urban-type settlement in the Azerbaijan SSR, included in the Lenin Raion, city of Baku. Population, 4,000 (1968). Bil’giakh is a coastal climatic health resort specializing in air, sun, water, and grape therapy. There are children’s rheumatism and general therapy sanatoriums, workers’ resorts, and Pioneer camps. The resort is open all year. There is also a crocus-growing sovkhoz.
