an urban-type settlement in the Azerbaijan SSR, part of the Ordzhonikidze district of the city of Baku. Population, 17,000 (1968). There is oil drilling in Biul’biulia, as well as a machine-building and a metalworking industry. An asphalt concrete plant and a cloth factory are also located in the settlement.
