Bixby Vision

The machine vision component of Samsung's Bixby virtual assistant, which debuted with the Galaxy S8 smartphones in 2017. An always-available option in the camera app, Bixby Vision is able to identify images and provide information about them. It can also translate text. For a feature like Samsung's Bixby Vision, this potentially means that you could check out a tourist spot in a city and onscreen could persistently remain tracked on your screen as you walk around the location.
Compared to competing products, the patent's details are similar to what comparable technology like Samsung's Bixby Vision augmented reality mode does in overlaying real-world information on the phone display.
