BizTalk.Org

An XML schema library website from Microsoft launched in 1999. Serving as a central repository for publishing and reviewing XML schemas from industry groups and companies, the site was closed in 2002. Microsoft claimed other XML repositories were more than sufficient to handle the load.

The two will define new modules for the BizTalk.Org library that enables data to be exchanged between SAP and Windows CE.
Both portals will act as repositories for XML schemas, but BizTalk.org will only publish schemas that work within Microsoft's BizTalk "framework".
The initiatives, due to follow the launch in March of the BizTalk Framework, include a new BizTalk.Org web site to serve as an open repository for the submission and publication of XML-based BizTalk Framework schemas, the formation of a steering committee to manage the web site, and draft specifications for the BizTalk Framework, available on the BizTalk.Org site -- at http://www.biztalk.org/.
The schema is for MarketSoft's eLeads application, and has been submitted to BizTalk.org, the central repository and developer resource site set up by Microsoft for the framework.
Microsoft has its own portal site, BizTalk.org, which appears to have similar aims.
Last week Microsoft and Oasis simultaneously set up new portal sites - Biztalk.org and XML.org respectively - as "open repositories" for Framework schemas.
