Boktybai Bol’shoi

 

a mountain peak in western Kazakh SSR in the Mugodzhar system. Altitude, 657 m. Boktybai Bol’shoi is composed of effusive rocks of the Mesozoic-Paleozoic. The slopes are dissected by rivers which run dry in summer and are covered with sagebrush, grassy steppe vegetation, and sparse scrub.
