Bol’shaia Kokshaga

 

a river in Kirov Oblast, RSFSR and Mari ASSR; a left tributary of the Volga. The Bol’shaia Kokshaga is 297 km long, drains a basin of 6,330 sq km, and is fed by snow and rain. It is icebound from early November until April. It is used for floating timber.
