Bol’shaia Shirta


a river in the southeast of the Iamalo-Nenets National Okrug, in Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Taz River. The Bol’shaia Shirta is 306 km long and drains a basin of 10,200 sq km located in the least marshy part of the West Siberian Plain. It is fed by snow and rain.
