Bol’shoi Gashun


a river in Rostov Oblast, in the RSFSR; left tributary of the Sal River. It is 161 km long and has a basin of 3,090 sq km. It takes its source from the Manych-Sal watershed and flows north. It is fed primarily by snow. It runs dry in the upper reaches. Its left tributary is the Malyi Gashun.
