The Boolean operators
AND and OR are modeled using the linguistic information aggregation operator LOWA , which facilitates the flexibility of the consultation evaluation process.
You can do this by using what are called Boolean Operators
, named after George Boole, a mathematician in the mid-1800s.
When using the search box, you can enter names of people, companies, job titles, locations, languages, or keywords and employ Boolean operators
. Filter options include People, All, Jobs, Content, and Companies.
I teach researchers complex search strategies using Boolean logic, and I explain that databases were designed assuming searchers would use Boolean operators
. Thus, it is imperative that they learn these complex search strategies in order to be effective searchers.
Also excluded were those strategies that simply mentioned the search concepts or simply presented a sequence of search terms, whether combined with Boolean operators
or not (without parentheses), indicating that such searches had been applied to all the consulted databases, but without a specific syntax or an expressed declaration that the search had been conducted through PubMed.
The measuring cups, spoons, bowls and pans used in manipulating the ingredients are the Boolean operators
. The oven represents compiling and running the program.
Different aspects of the query can be linked together, but this often requires knowledge of Boolean operators
To find out how effectively respondents search for information in electronic resources, respondents were asked whether they use Boolean operators
in accessing electronic resources.
This paper provides a significant advance in the description of the phase diagram of PDS over graphs on (global) Boolean operators
, by analyzing the veracity of two classical theorems in dynamical systems theory in this framework.
A combination of these keywords was also applied using Boolean Operators
