Location:On the border of Sharon and Easton, in the Greater Boston area.
Facilities:Historic home, group day-use area, hiking trails (é), equestrian trails, restrooms (é), visitor center.
Activities:Boating (non-motorized), canoeing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, disc golf, cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, scheduled tours.
Special Features:Borderland is an English-style stone mansion built in 1910 by artist and suffragist Blanche Ames and her botanist husband Oakes. Its 20 rooms are restored and furnished in their original style, and many of Blanche Ames's paintings grace the walls.
