Brighton is a seaside health resort with a mild, cool climate. The average annual temperature is 9.6° C, and the relative humidity ranges from 72 to 79 percent. The main therapeutic remedy is aeroheliothalassotherapy. Persons suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems are treated here. There are sanatoriums for adults and children and many hotels. Various types of machine-building, sewing, printing, and food are among the city’s industries. Brighton was founded in 1750.
