Location:South-central Massachusetts. Take Mass Pike (I-90) to Exit 8, Route 32 south to Route 20 east, right on Monson Road. Follow signs.
Facilities:Group day-use area, trails, restrooms (é).
Activities:Fishing, walking/hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting (with restrictions), swimming, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Rolling, densely forested property includes over 20 miles of roads and trails. Located in the western portion of the forest is Dean Pond Recreation Area, an isolated, peaceful spot for picnicking and swimming.
