Burshtyn

 

an urban-type settlement in Galich Raion, Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Gnilaia Lipa River (Dnestr Basin). It has a railroad station. Population, 6, 800 (1968). The Burshtyn State Regional Electric Power Plant is located in the settlement, as well as a housing construction combine and an electrical engineering technicum.
