COIP

(1) (Communications Over Internet Protocol) An umbrella term for transmitting all forms of data over the Internet (via IP), including voice, images, video and data.

(2) (Conferencing Over Internet Protocol) An umbrella term for videoconferencing over the Internet (via IP). See H.323.
