Cahiers du Communisme

 

the theoretical and political monthly journal of the Central Committee of the French Communist Party, published in Paris since 1924. It discusses the most important problems of party strategy and tactics and publishes articles on problems of Marxist-Leninist theory and on various aspects of international politics. Much attention is given to ideological problems. Circulation, 20,000 (1974).

In April 1945 the French Communist Jacques Duclos, whose own party was anything but revolutionary, attacked Browder in the journal, Cahiers du Communisme, referring ominously, to the CPA leader as the "former secretary." As Stalin liked to say, this was not an accident.
