Caldwell, (Charles William, Jr.) Charlie

(1901–57) football coach; born in Bristol, Va. One of the last successful single-wing coaches, his undefeated 1950–51 Princeton teams, featuring tailback Dick Kazmaier, were ranked sixth in the Associated Press polls.
