Location:9 miles south from WV 39 at Huntersville; adjacent to Watoga State Park.
Facilities:Primitive campsites.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hunting (in season).
Special Features:Forest is named for one of the state's most famous newspapermen, who was a leading proponent of the purchase and designation of this area as a state forest.
