Car WhispererSoftware that intercepts a hands-free Bluetooth conversation in a car. Developed as proof of concept in 2005 by the Trinity Group, an association of European security experts, the Car Whisperer enables an attacker to speak to the driver as well as eavesdrop on a conversation. By exploiting the fact that a common security code (passkey) is used by many Bluetooth hands-free system vendors, the Car Whisperer sets up a two-way session with the car and a Linux computer.
