Carlton, (Stephen Norman) Steve

(1944–  ) baseball player; born in Miami, Fla. During his 23-year career as a (left-handed) pitcher (1965–87), mostly with the Philadelphia Phillies, he won 329 games and won the Cy Young Award four times. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994.
