Cesvaine

 

an urban-type settlement in Madona Raion, Latvian SSR. Cesvaine has a railroad station on the Gulbene-Pļaviņas line, 172 km east of Riga, and a creamery. The Cesvaine Livestock-raising Sovkhoz is located in the settlement.
