Chakva
an urban-type settlement in Kobuleti Raion, Adzhar ASSR. Chakva is situated on the Black Sea coast and has a rail road station on the Samtredia-Batumi line. The settlement has three tea factories, a tea-pressing plant, and facilities for the production of fruit wines and citrus liqueurs. There are tea and citrus-fruit sovkhozes in Chakva, and the settlement has a branch of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Tea and Subtropical Crops. Chakva also has tourist facilities.
