Chayes, Abram

Chayes, Abram (Joseph)

(1922–  ) legal scholar; born in Chicago. He taught at Harvard Law School (1955–61, 1965) and served as a State Department advisor (1961–64). He is considered an authority on international law and served as chairman of the International Nuclear Fuel Cycle Evaluation Committee (1977–80).
