Chebyshev's inequality[′cheb·ə·shəfs ‚in·i′kwäl·əd·ē]
Given a nonnegative random variable ƒ(x), and k > 0, the probability that ƒ(x) ≥ k is less than or equal to the expected value of ƒ divided by k.
