Chinese Perch

 

(Siniperca chuatsi), a predatory fish of the Serranidae family. It is up to 50 cm in length and lives in the Amur River and the rivers of China; it is sometimes also found in lakes. The fish spawns in rivers at the start of the summer. The eggs develop in deep water. The Chinese perch is of commercial significance in the Amur Basin.
