A systemic infectious venereal disease caused by a microorganism belonging to the PLT-Bedsonia group, characterized by enlargement of inguinal lymph nodes and genital ulceration. Abbreviated LGV. Also known as lymphogranuloma inguinale; lymphopathia venereum; venereal bubo.
