To date, 434 taxa have been recorded for both countries, being 174 (14 Blastocladiomycota, 42 Chytridiomycota, two Hyphochytriomycota, three Labyrinthulomycota, 112 Oomycota and one Phytomyxea) for Argentina and 348 (18 Blastocladiomycota, 121 Chytridiomycota, five Hyphochytriomycota, four Labyrinthulomycota, 196 Oomycota and four Phytomyxea) for Brazil.
