circle of equal probability[′sər·kəl əv ′ē·kwəl präb·ə′bil·əd·ē]
A measure of the accuracy with which a rocket or missile can be guided; the radius of the circle at a specific distance in which 50% of the reliable shots land. Also known as circle of probable error; circular error probable.
