Under surface of wing acts as a diverging duct. Both pressure (P) and velocity (v) increase at supersonic speed but the increase in velocity is greater. This results in generation of higher lift.
An additional lift gained at supersonic speeds by forcing airflow to accelerate beneath the wing.
