Craig, Harmon

Craig, Harmon

(1926–  ) oceanographer; born in New York City. He served the University of Chicago (1951–55), then joined the University of California: San Diego (1955–65) and its Scripps Institute of Oceanography (1965). He made major contributions to the chemical relationships of lakes and oceans, the atmosphere, and land formations.
