Cristóbal (krēstōˈbäl), town, Colón prov., near the Caribbean end of the Panama Canal, Panama. Cristóbal is located in the former Panama Canal Zone and was the American residential suburb of Colón; it has been under Panamanian jurisdiction since 1979.
