D/A preamp
A stereo component that includes the traditional analog and digital audio inputs and also provides digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion of high-resolution music from a computer via a USB connection. A D/A preamp is a high-end device for audiophiles who typically favor separate components; however, the D/A preamp actually consolidates two devices (a USB DAC and a preamp).
