Dameron, (Tadley Ewing) Tadd

(1917–65) musician; born in Cleveland, Ohio. Mainly active in the 1940s, he was a pianist and bandleader, an arranger for Count Basie and Dizzy Gillespie, and the composer of several modern jazz standards.
